Our personal injury lawyers, serving North York and the Greater Toronto Area, provide free initial consultations to injured persons. If we get retained, we generally do so on the basis of a contingency fee agreement which means we get paid fees based on the amount of the settlement and benefits or award we win for our clients.
Our personal injury clients pay nothing upfront. There is no payment until our clients get paid. Once a client of ours is paid, by award or settlement, we charge a percentage of the payment as fees for our work. The more we settle for the more we get paid and our interests are always aligned with our clients'. We have a vested interest, in addition to our professional duty to our clients, to do well for our clients.
Fees, which at Rooz Law Personal Injury Lawyers we charge on a contingency fee basis, are meant to compensate a lawyer for the time/work put into the file. In the unlikely event there is no compensation, we will not bill any fees to our client.
