Ben Fotia graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy in 2016. In 2019, he obtained his Juris Doctorate and was called to the bar the same year.
During his time at the University of Western Ontario Ben was an active member of the Pre-Law Society as well as the Society for International Relations, applying his knowledge of ethics and political philosophy to discussions about law and international politics at the University. During his time at Queen’s Law, Ben focused on tort and insurance law as well as on personal injury advocacy finishing his Trial Advocacy course as one of the top students in the class.
Ben articled at a small personal injury firm and was responsible for attending motions, day to day management of files, conducting legal research, and assisting the associate lawyers. His experience during his articling term cemented his dedication to become an advocate for those too vulnerable to advocate for themselves.
In his free time, Ben enjoys playing basketball and hockey, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with friends and family.
